Comprehensive Wellness Care for Your Pet

We are strong believers in preventive care. The goal is simple: catch problems before they become serious, so your pet lives a longer, healthier life.

    Vaccinations

    Protecting your dog or cat

We follow the vaccination protocols recommended by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), so your pet gets the right protection for their age and lifestyle.

    Canine vaccinations

Core (puppy & adult): Rabies, DHLPP
    Non-core: Bordetella, Rattlesnake

    Feline vaccinations

Core (kitten & adult): Rabies, FVRCP
    Non-core: Leukemia

    Senior pets

    Care for your senior pet

    Senior wellness program

As pets age they become more prone to cancer, arthritis, dental disease, diabetes, and heart disease. We recommend a geriatric exam tailored to your pet's age and condition, with diagnostics designed to catch problems before they get difficult and expensive to treat: ear and eye exams, basic neurologic and cardiovascular checks, weight and nutrition assessment, blood chemistry, and urinalysis.

Signs of aging to watch for

Some "old age" symptoms are actually signs of a treatable problem. If your older pet shows any of these, let us know:

    • Stiffness or limping
    • Difficulty climbing stairs or jumping
    • Changes in breathing patterns
    • Tremors or shaking
    • Excessive scratching or coat changes
    • Drastic weight loss or gain
    • Difficulty seeing or hearing
    • Changes in urination or defecation
    • Confusion or disorientation
    • Decreased responsiveness

    Nutrition

    Nutrition counseling

Nutrition is the single biggest health variable you control. At each exam we evaluate your pet's body condition and make recommendations. We carry prescription and high-quality diets from Hill's and Royal Canin, and can order anything we don't stock.

We can also advise on diets for specific conditions: liver disease, bladder and kidney stones, renal failure, food allergies, and diabetes.
